Eula JH participated in Academic UIL speaking events today in Cross Plains. In 6th grade Oral Reading Aimee Kaufman placed 2nd, Camryn Gray placed 4th, and Tinsley Robinson placed 6th. In 6th grade Impromptu Kullen Handley placed 1st and Jayden Dodson placed 3rd. In 7th grade Oral Reading Bellami Sassin placed 5th. In 7th grade Impromptu Kirkley Souders placed 3rd and Raelynn Cass placed 5th. In 7th grade Modern Oratory Raelynn Cass placed 2nd. In 8th Grade Inpromptu Emma Damron placed 4th. In 8th grade Modern Oratory Emma Damron placed 1st and Addy Goodman placed 5th. Great job to all our students today! You made Eula Proud with both your effort and behavior. It is great to be a Pirate!!

The Juniors got their class rings today!

Mini-cheer participants will join the Varsity Cheerleaders this Tuesday (tomorrow, 11/30/21) at the Varsity Boys halftime. Please have them wear their cheer camp shirt & black shorts or cheer skirt. They need to be there at 7:45.

Eula Boys Maroon fell to the Baird Bears tonight in District Play 25-19. The boys played hard!

Eula JH Girls Maroon team defeated Baird tonight 40-9 in district play tonight. Great job tonight!

Eula JH Boys White Team defeated the Baird Bears tonight 25-6. Great job!!

Eula JH Girls White team was able to get some good work in tonight with an inter squad game due to a cancellation. Great jobs ladies!

Pirates make it 2 in a row with a hard fought 54-48 win over Merkel. Lady Pirates fall 63-33 in the girls game. All teams will be back in action next Tuesday at home. Have a great Thanksgiving. #thisiseula

The Eula Pirates defeat Huckabay 45-40 this afternoon, while the Lady Pirates fell 59-39. Both JV’s were victorious. All teams take on Merkel tomorrow afternoon. #thisiseula

Lady Pirate JV won the Championship of the Eula JV Tournament with an overtime victory over Cisco. They finished the tournament 4-0! The Pirate boys tied for 1st with a 2-1 record. Way to go Pirates and Lady Pirates! #thisiseula

In the desire to be transparent, due to an incident at the end of the day both campuses were briefly placed on Secure due to safety protocols. The day resumed normally without incident, have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday.

We are proud that all of our seniors have applied for college. Thanks to all the people who made pies for them! Also thanks to Ms. Dement, Ms. Elston and Ms. Collins for your part in this. #thisiseula
