Our local 4H Chapter participated in the Rio Grande Valley Wildlife Challenge in Mercedes last week and Eula Elementary student Braxton Heikes placed 2nd place overall in the Junior Division. Congratulations Braxton and way to represent Eula and the Callahan County 4H.

The baseball game for Friday originally scheduled for 4:30 pm is now being played at 2pm in cross plains.
District Staar Test Dates
High School Student Council will be selling temporary tattoos during breakfast to elementary students on Wednesday and Thursday morning. Elementary students will have the chance to “tattoo” their teacher. Funds raised from the tattoo sales will be used by student council to build a “Buddy Bench” in memory of Logan Weaver to be placed on the playground. A “Buddy Bench” is a place can students can sit when they’re needing someone to play with. Sitting on the bench signals to other students to invite them to play nurturing kindness and inclusion. 💜🏴☠️
The UIL #LoneStarCup Update #2 has Eula sitting in 4th Place out of 200 Class A School Districts! Way to go Pirates and Lady Pirates! We look forward to our Spring UIL Events adding to our Total to finish out the year! #thisiseula
The UIL Lone Star Cup is awarded annually to six high schools, one in each of the six UIL classifications (1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A and 6A), based on their team performance in district and state championships. The winning schools in each classification will receive the UIL Lone Star Cup trophy and a $1,000 scholarship. The UIL would like to thank Texas Farm Bureau Insurance for their sponsorship of the UIL Lone Star Cup.
Honoring the best overall athletic and academic programs in Texas, the UIL Lone Star Cup is open to all UIL participant high schools.
