6th Graders have been studying the different kinds of models used in science; such as physical, conceptual, mathematical, etc. They were given the opportunity to choose any subject and create a scientific model while demonstrating advantages and limitations of models in comparison to the actual represented items.

The Lady Pirates competed well yesterday at the Hawley XC meet. We had three 8th graders medal, Camryn Gray (2nd), Audrey Ward (3rd), and Tinsley Robinson (9th). Hartleigh Dahlberg (10th) also medaled in the 7th grade division. Way to go girls!

As we reflect on the events of 9/11, a few of our students had the honor of paying their respects at the Pentagon Memorial on our Washington, D.C. trip this summer. The impact of seeing one of the sites from that tragic day in person is one we will never forget.

PARENT Spectator Parking Information: Please tell your parents to make sure that they do not park or drive through the residential yards or driveways.
