High School Cross Country will open the season at Jim Ned on Saturday Morning, August 19th. The meet will be held behind Jim Ned High School, finishing at the stadium.

6th Grade Orientation will be tonight in the Secondary Cafeteria from 6:00-7:00 pm. The online registration link is open through the Parent Portal, you can begin to fill it out if you have a parent portal account set up. You do need to have an email est. in the system and if you have forgotten your parent portal user name or password please use the retrieval questions first before asking for the reset email option. We will have computers available tonight and assistance if needed. Looking forward to seeing you tonight!
The initial registration times are now complete for 7th-12th Students. Thank you to all who registered. If you have not registered your students please see below. Note: Students must be registered in order to receive their schedule. 6th Grade Students will register at orientation at 6:00 on Thursday, August 10th.
Ways to register your student.
- Log On to Parent Portal and complete your student's registration. https://portals20.ascendertx.com/ParentPortal/login Once that is done, you may come by the school to pick up your class schedule.
- If you cannot log on to Parent Portal, then on-site registration will still be open from 1:00-4:00 Wednesday, August 9th, 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00 on Thursday and Friday, August 10th and 11th.
