In observance of Texas Independence Day yesterday, Mrs. Walker’s 4th graders had the privilege of listening to Monette Scott and Amy Crockett talk about what life what life was like for citizens during the Texas Revolution. Ms. Crockett demonstrated the process of how to turn cotton into clothing. They also learned to make their own butter like colonists! The Pirates fell to Hermleigh last night in the Regional Quarterfinal game 49-44. We are proud of their effort and the way they represented our school. They end the season at 26-8, District Champions, Bi-District Champions, and Area Champions. We will be releasing thier numerous All District honors in the coming days. #thisiseula
