Extra-Curricular Organizations
The
old saying, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" still holds
true today. Any school's goal is to allow each and every student to
reach their full potential. Here at Eula ISD, our students have a wide
range of extra-curricular activities to choose from. These groups offer
our students the opportunity to experience more than just academics
here at Eula High School and Jr. High School.
Student Council is the student organization that is the heart of the high school activity program. They are involved in a wide variety of community service
projects and activities throughout the year. This organization consists of
elected officers, elected representatives from each grade, and the president
or vice president of all other clubs or organizations.
The
National Beta Club promotes character, develops leadership skills,
encourages service involvement, provides technological advantages to
students in grades 11-12. In order to get inducted into the Beta Club,
the students have to have a cumulative grade average of 92 on a
100 scale from the time they start high school until the end of
their senior year.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes -
FCA is a nationwide student
organization for Christian Athletes in high school.
This organization is for any student who is a Christian that wants to
spread the word about the gospel of Christ to others. Its goal is
to
present to students and all whom they influence the challenge and
adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in
their relationships and in the fellowship of the church
FCCLA (Family Career Community Leaders of America) -
FCCLA is a nonprofit national
career and technical student orginization for young men and women in
family and consumer science courses aimed at providing better
opportunities for adult life.
FFA - Ag -
FFA makes a positive difference in
the lives of students by developing their potential for premier
leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural
education.
4H Club -
4-H is a community of young people
across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life
skills. 4-H is about having fun, learning, exploring and discovering.
In 4-H, young people make new friends, develop new skills, become
leaders and help shape their communities.
Business Club is a program about
giving students an opportunity to explore the world of business.
