College English 2322/2323, GOVT 2305 and ECON 2301
may be taken for dual credit during the senior year. All other
courses may be taken for college credit through the distance
learning lab or online during junior or senior year. Any class
offered on the Internet by the institution of higher education may
be taken, as long as prior requirements are met. The high school
principal or designee will determine college courses that will be
accepted for dual credit by Eula High School.

The
student must be accepted for admittance to Cisco College per their
standards of admission. The students must also be accepted for
admittance to college per Eula ISD standards of admission. Each
student must have an ELA TAKS score of 2300 and a writing score of
3, and a Math TAKS scale score of 2300.

The student must
enroll with the Cisco College through the website and purchase or
make arrangements for textbooks required for the course. Students
must sign up for both a fall and spring semester course to avoid
scheduling conflicts.

Credit
for successfully completed college courses(s) shall be earned in
one-half increments (3 hours = ½ credit).

The student pays
all costs associated with taking the college course(s), including
tuition and fees, local lab charges, textbooks, lab materials and
other resources. Each class will be $181.00 plus the cost of books.
Eula ISD charges a $15.00 college class fee that will be collected
by Eula High School at the time of registration. Funds collected
will be used to pay for costs associated with college classes.

The
student must provide Eula ISD a copy of the official college
transcript or semester grades showing the grade received if
requested.

Grades must be a
minimum of a “C” (70) to qualify for high school credit. Note:
Grades of 80 or higher on a 100 point scale are required for college
academic courses to qualify as advanced measures under the
Distinguished Achievement High School Program.

Grades
earned in a college course(s) will not be used in computing class
rankings or GPA.
