Tammie Nickell was born in Merckel, but she went to Cooper High School and then to Hardin Simmons University. Her favorite subject was Math. If she had to choose another job it would be a nurse. Her favorite hobbies are gardening and spending time with her family. She chose to be a teacher because she always wanted to be a teacher. She has two daughters, Anna who lives with her, and Chelsie who lives in Dallas. The biggest change since she was a kid is the technology we have today. Her family’s holiday tradition is to get together for Christmas. Something she has done that you wouldn’t guess is she played varsity tennis in high school. The best vacation she has ever taken was Anna’s first trip to Six Flags. The fanciest party she has ever been to was a wedding and the most fun she has had in a day was any time she spends with her daughters
